Branson

Now.....I don't normally post pictures of pendants that I make for living children but this is a little different.  Branson was born 3 months prematurely.  And he has been struggling lately.  He has been experiencing seizures and gets sick very, very easily and therefore has been in and out of the hospital.  This handsome guy needs our prayers.  I know firsthand how powerful prayer can be.  Let's surround this little boy and his family with prayers!  Thanks so much!

Crimsyn Molli

Crimsyn Molli is our first baby, the apple of our eye, and all the while we were silently hoping for a girl. When we found out at just 13 weeks that she WAS in fact our baby girl we prayed for, we knew she was meant to be. She was an answered prayer after 6 long years of trying to conceive, tears shed, and faith tested. We never imagined losing her and still can’t quite grasp the reality of it at times. I trust that God needed to build our faith a little bit more before we would be ready for our baby. We rest better knowing that it wasn’t an issue with her health (as she was 100% perfect) but that it was a progesterone deficiency her Mommy had and that the Drs didn’t know about. Crimsyn Molli Ruebin was born on January 2, 2012, earning her wings two days before on December 31, 2011 when her precious heart stopped beating here on earth.  Her tiny footprint left an impression that will forever remain on all of our hearts! Molli will be loved, missed, and remembered ALWAYS. Rest in the arms of the angels baby girl. Mommy and Daddy (and your “rainbow” sibling on the way) love you so much!

Wyatt Nathaniel

Of course, I just HAD to make a pendant for my very dear beautiful friend Danielle!!  What kind of friend would I be if I hadn't??  I met Danielle shortly after I lost Noah  and she lost Wyatt.  We starting talking and became fast friends.  We have even been able to actually meet in person and she and I have visited each other on and off since.

Wyatt was diagnosed in utero at 18 weeks with Thanataphoric Dysplasia which is a lethal form of dwarfism.  He lived an amazing 2 minutes after his birth and I know his mom cherishes those 2 minutes more than anything.  She is actually trying to fight to get Wyatt a birth certificate.  Legally, he was declared stillborn but he took a breath, a few actually, and lived for 2 minutes outside the womb.  That is NOT stillborn by its very definition.  But in Tennessee it is stated as such:  "Heartbeats shall be distinguished from transient cardiac contraction, and respirations shall be distinguished from fleeting respiratory efforts or gasps..."

Danielle is fighting to have the wording changed thusly:  "Each product of such a birth is considered live born and fully recognized as a human person under Maine (change to Tennessee) Law"  Hopefully, Tennessee legislation will one day change their definition of still birth.

Aaron

Aaron was a loving, spiritual little boy.
He loved to play and laugh.

New pendant shapes and chains and pins to choose from!

Here is the original square pendant which is still available and still very popular.  It is 1 inch tall and 1 inch long.  All pendants are $5 per pendant.

Here is the new heart shaped pendant.  It is the same size as the square at 1 inch tall and 1 inch wide at the biggest part of the sides.  This is $5 per pendant.

This is the large oval shaped pendant.  It is 1-1/2 inches tall and about 1-1/4 inches wide.  This is $5 per pendant.

This is a customizable silver chain.  It is $3 per chain.  I say customizable because it comes in 20 inch length at its greatest length but can be customized to any length below it.  I wear this chain at 18 inches myself :-) I started offering the chain simply because I didn't have a chain for my pendant of Noah and figured there might be other people ordering pendants who might need a chain for it as well.

I also decided to try to make the pendants into pins that could be worn on shirts or lapels or other such apparel.  My husband didn't really want to wear a necklace so this is a nice alternative.  The pin is $1 to add it to the back.

Here is a close up the pendant being worn as a pin.

I do hope you all enjoy the new pendant shapes and chains and pins!  I'm really just wanting to provide as many options as I can for people so that they can wear their children's pictures in so many ways.  I wear my pendant of Noah every day!

Xzaren Heaven Colby

Xzaren was such a blessing to us and we are so greatful for the 21 weeks God let us have xzaren and someday we will hold that little one in our arms again! So wish our time could of been longer or at least we could of held Xzaren when Xzaren was alive not a month later when the doctor figured out Xzaren was gone! They told us we did not have to see Xzaren or hold him/her or have any pics but this is our child and I so wanted all of that.  I did not want to stop holding Xzaren! One day I will find out if Xzaren was a boy or girl but does not matter.  I love my angel.

Croley Babies - Riley, Muffin, Sweet Pea & Rosebud

*I made 2 as the top one I wasn't all that happy with.  I wanted to try to center the butterfly which is why I ended up making another one :-)*

I have had the wonderful pleasure of knowing Caroline via Facebook for 3 years now.  She is a wonderful lady who has such a passion for outreach to the grieving parents.  Being a grieving parent herself she understands firsthand the heartbreak of losing a child.  She herself has lost 4 precious babies.  As a way to give back she does cross stitch where she cross stitches your child's name with a pretty butterfly, heart, or some other such thing.  They really are beautiful and, what's more, they come straight from the heart.  Here is her blog where you can see and read more about that project:  Stitches of Love

Aaron

I made this pendant for a friend, Kristi, who I made a pendant of her sweet baby Jordan, and who wanted one made for a friend of hers who lost Aaron to a car accident.  I was completely honored to make one for her!  I actually made 2, one for mom and one for dad.  I can only hope that the pendants are helping them to heal a bit by wearing them every day, as I have been told that they do.

Grayson James

Grayson's mom Ashlee had this to share about Grayson:

I found out at 18 weeks pregnant that my precious baby boy was considered in compatible with life.. He was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 its a chromosomes defect that effect each and every cell in his body.. No matter what the doctors said he was still my baby and he would grow his wings when he was ready.. Grayson beat so many odds during the next 4 months. Grayson had Spinal bifida, VSD heart, and an omphalocele all related to the trisomy 13. There were things one doctor would tell us he had and others that would tell us he didn't have.. We were given no hope for our angel to survive. I was induced at 37 weeks. We were also told with his defects that he could pass during birth ( but we were also told he "could" pass during my pregnancy and he didn't) we choose to not have his heart monitored continuously bc I didn't want to panic anymore than I already was during delivery.. Grayson was born at 6:55pm January 27th, he was not crying but he WAS breathing <3.. Grayson blessed us with 7.5 amazing hours.. He touched so many peoples hearts. He has made so many people aware of what Trisomy is and for them to not take things for granted..He Is my hero I have never been more proud of someone in my entire life! He truly is an angel and one of the best gifts that was ever given to me! You can follow our Journey from the beginning on his page "Hope For Grayson"

Madelyn Rebecca

Of course I had to make a pendant for Heather!!!  After all, she is the brilliant mind that created this blog and the idea of In Our Hearts Photo Pendants!!  You can read more about Madelyn's story by either clicking the link above or here.

Ethan Charles

I had the pleasure of meeting Ethan's mom shortly after I had Noah via Facebook.  Since that time we have supported each other through the tough days of missing our children.  She is an amazing woman who has taken her loss of Ethan and turned into something beautiful by offering her amazing photography skills to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.  If you have lost a child, then you know how precious the gift that NILMDTS offers to parents of a baby has passed away.  I commend her courage to do this amazing thing.

Here is where you can read more about her journey:  http://www.journeyingrief.blogspot.com/

And here is where you can see for yourself her amazing photography:  http://www.angeladonaldsonphotography.com/

Austin John

I had the pleasure of making a pendant for another dear friend, April, who I met on the Anencephaly groups through Yahoo.  April too had the devastating news of John having anencephaly and chose to carry him to term, giving birth to him in December 2007.  He lived for 11 perfect minutes.  She was a wonderful support during my time carrying Noah and I have no doubt she has helped countless other mothers who were faced with the same diagnosis.

This is a video of John's time with April and her family:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB8Ti-Dhpco&context=C48b24a5ADvjVQa1PpcFNNiYT7-IsFjHcHmJNjIHQapB57x5lKQ1c=

April's parish is also in the running for the Lumen Christi Award.  Please, I know she would appreciate your vote!   https://apps.facebook.com/offerpop/Contest.psp?c=90970&u=17056&a=177914495580579&p=124626320898336&v=Entry&id=284948&rest=1
